The short version
This site sets two cookies. Both are strictly functional, first-party, and remember a choice you made on this site. There is nothing to accept or reject, which is why you see no consent banner.
The cookies we set
- banner-dismissed: remembers that you closed the announcement banner, so it stays closed. First-party, stored for one year, SameSite=Lax.
- intro-seen: remembers that the intro animation already played, so it does not replay on every visit. First-party, stored for one year, SameSite=Lax.
Neither cookie contains a name, an email address, or anything that identifies you. Neither follows you anywhere.
What we do not use
No analytics cookies, no marketing cookies, no social media pixels, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting. If that ever changes, this page changes first, and consent is asked wherever the law requires it.
Legal basis
Both cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the site the way you asked it to appear, so § 25(2) TDDDG allows them without consent. Under the GDPR, the basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): remembering your display choices.
How to control them
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time, usually under Settings, Privacy. If you delete these two, the banner may show again and the intro may replay. Nothing else breaks.
